Welcome to my psychology practice. I have practiced psychology in Nova Scotia, the UK and now in British Columbia. I am experienced in providing psychological assessments and therapy to adults, children and families.

I have found that different approaches work for different people so I am flexible in how I work. I try to discover what kind of life someone pictures for themselves and their family, find out what really matters to them, and work with them to make that happen in their lives. For one person a goal might be to learn to deal with their panic attacks, for another person, it might be to feel brave enough to face going to the grocery store, and for another it might be to feel good enough to get back to work or to get on better with their spouse. By discovering what matters, I work to make sure that the therapy that we do is focused and relevant to the lives of the people I work with.

I have worked in a range of settings with people from a wide variety of cultural, ethnic, educational backgrounds, in rural areas and major cities, with positions ranging from company directors, teachers to lobster fishermen to refugees. For more information about me please go to the About page.

Information about the effectiveness of therapy can be found on the Therapy page.

I run a number of different course and these are posted regularly on the Courses page of this site.
